How billing works
How does the free trial work?
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial with all of the plan's features. No credit card is needed. If you keep going after the trial, your first invoice covers the days after it ended.
When and how am I billed?
We invoice monthly in arrears — at the start of each month for the month before — so you only pay for what you actually used. Invoices are emailed to your billing address and are due within 14 days.
What counts as an active unit?
A unit is a room or a rental you've set up in BestDealsHost and haven't deactivated. We bill the highest number of active units during the month, so units you deactivate for the off-season aren't billed in months they stay inactive.
How does the monthly minimum work?
Each plan has a monthly minimum for the units charge. If your units come to less, the invoice is topped up to the minimum. The channel manager add-on is charged on top and doesn't count toward the minimum.
How is the channel manager priced?
It's an add-on you can turn on with any plan. Hotels pay per connected property (all room types are one listing); villas and vacation rentals pay per connected unit, because each unit is listed on its own.
Can I change plans or cancel?
Yes. You can change plans as you grow, or cancel anytime — cancellation takes effect at the end of the month. You can export all your data as a ZIP file, including for 90 days after you cancel.
Which currency are prices in? Do they include tax?
Prices are in US dollars (USD). They exclude any applicable taxes, which are added to your invoice where required.
